Leopard Geckos are an incredibly popular choice of pet reptile due to their sweet nature, ease of care and the huge variety of colours and patterns (morphs) they come in!

Adult Leopard Geckos should be housed in a vivarium measuring 3ft long as the minimum size. Babies should be housed in their adult-sized enclosure straight away as they are very fast growing.

Thermostatically controlled overhead heating should be provided, with temps measured using a digital thermometer or heat gun. Low level UV lighting is beneficial.

Leopard Geckos require multiple hides within their enclosure, one of which should be filled with moist sphagnum moss to aid in their shedding cycle. They enjoy a loose soil/sand mix substrate, and a small shallow water dish in the cooler end of their enclosure.
